Through this 21-week, NBHWC-approved program, get the skills, practice, and confidence to guide powerful transformation in others as a Chopra Certified Coach. With interactive online and hands-on practice, plus plenty of support, you'll be equipped to launch your coaching career.
Part 1: Chopra Foundations – Your building blocks for success
Week 1: Becoming a Chopra Life and Health Coach
- Connect with your fellow Chopra Coaches.
- Learn the basics of coaching and walk through the Chopra Coaching Model
Week 2: Meditation Foundations
- Learn the benefits of meditation and how it can be used as a tool to harness the power of the software of the soul.
- Receive your personalized Primordial Sound Meditation mantra and how to use it.
- Experience the seven states of consciousness through meditation and mindful awareness.
Week 3: Health Foundations
- Understand our mental, physical, and spiritual health on a more individualized level through Ayurveda.
- Learn how the five elements combine to create the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
Part 2: Chopra Fundamentals
Week 4: Coaching Presence & Relationship
- Connect with your fellow Chopra Coaches.
- Learn the basics of coaching and walk through the Chopra Coaching Model.
Week 5: Listening
- Learn the foundational skill of any coaching relationship: listening.
- Practice cultivating mindful listening skills with your peers to take your clients deeper into awareness, moving them forward into action.
Week 6: Questioning & Soul Reflections
- Learn the art of "Coaching Reflection" to let someone feel seen and heard.
- Put everything you've learned together and offer a coaching session to one of your certification peers.
- Learn to introduce yourself into the coaching conversation, with thoughtful questions and reflections.
Part 3: Chopra Pillars of Health - 3 sessions released weekly
Week 7: Identify and prevent disease
- Learn to apply foundational coaching skills to conversations about health and well-being.
- Uncover some of the biggest warning signs of poor health and disease.
Week 8: The 6 Pillars of Chopra Health, Part 1
- Learn how to help your clients achieve their lifestyle goals and move toward a healthier and more sustainable future through the first three pillars: Nutrition, movement, sleep.
Week 9: The 6 Pillars of Chopra Health, Part 2
Continue learning how to help your clients achieve their lifestyle goals and move toward a healthier and more sustainable future through the last three pillars: Meditation, emotions, and self-care.
Part 4: Coaching Cornerstones - 12 sessions released weekly
Week 10: Purpose – Experience
- Experience being coached through the Purpose cornerstone.
- Learn how to help your clients clarify their archetype and legacy—leaving them with a meaningful purpose statement.
Week 11: Purpose – Structured
- Learn how to guide your clients through the same coaching experience you worked through last week.
Week 12: Purpose – Improv
- Take the key concepts from the structured experience and learn how to blend them into a more nuanced and organic conversation with your client.
Week 13: Intention – Experience
- Experience being coached through the Intention cornerstone. Integrating goals is key to enabling change and transformation.
- Learn how to help your client clarify their well-being vision—and commit to achieving it through specific, consistent actions.
Week 14: Intention – Structured
- Learn how to guide your clients through the same coaching experience you worked through last week.
Week 15: Intention – Improv
- Take the key concepts from the structured experience and learn to blend them into a more nuanced and organic conversation with your client.
Week 16: Meaning – Experience
- Experience being coached through the Meaning cornerstone.
- Help clients identify and shift their conditioned, limiting beliefs so they can view life through a more expanded and optimistic lens.

What can I do with this certification?
Chopra Coaches work in a variety of sectors and professions – they are active corporate wellness, education, across health care settings, start their own businesses as professional coaches, write books, lead retreats, and open wellness centers, to name a few.
What is the difference between this certification and IIN's HCTP?
Chopra Coaching is a life and health coach training rooted in the consciousness-based philosophies of Deepak Chopra with an emphasis on the Chopra Coaching Cornerstones of Purpose, Intention, Meaning and Shadow. IIN’s flagship program, HCTP, provides more than 95 faculty in over 75 different health and wellness topics, exposing students to many different aspects of health, wellness, and nutrition.
What does it mean to be a National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) accredited program?
Starting May 2023, the Chopra Coaching Certification Program is a National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) accredited and approved program. All NBHWC Approved Programs minimally meet the required standards in the areas of instructional hours, practical skill development and assessment, and faculty qualifications in the instruction of the competencies related to the practice of health and wellness coaching. Graduates from the May 2023 Chopra Coaching Certification Program qualify to pursue and apply for the NBHWC National Board Certification Examination and have the opportunity to earn the designation, National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). Graduating from the Chopra Coaching Program does not include the NBC-HWC designation; you must complete the NBHWC requirements, application steps, and sit for the certifying exam to achieve this designation.
What if I can’t attend the scheduled webinars live? Are they recorded?
Yes all webinars are recorded and added to your learning platform following the session. Note, watching recorded webinars does NOT count towards accumulating the synchronous hours required to apply to sit for the NBHWC National Board Certification Examination.
Can I become a certified Chopra Coach but not follow the requirements of the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching?
Yes! NBHWC requires that you attend most webinars live. Watching recordings does not count. For your Chopra certification, you may watch recordings of sessions and do not need to attend live.
How much is tuition? Do I have payment plan options?
Standard tuition is $4,995. Enrollment tuition: $3,995, pricing extended until June 30. You can choose to either pay in full or monthly payment options.
